sitemap can be read, but has error problem solve

Missing xml tag. This required tag is missing , please add it and resubmit problem fix

 

A sitemap is a file where you provide information about the pages, videos, and other files on your site, and the relationships between them. Search engines like Google read this file to crawl your site more efficiently. A sitemap tells Google which pages and files you think are important in your site, and also provides valuable information about these files. You can use a sitemap to provide information about specific types of content on your pages, including video, image, and news content.

If your site's pages are properly linked, Google can usually discover most of your site. Proper linking means that all pages that you deem important can be reached through some form of navigation, be that your site's menu or links that you placed on pages. Even so, a sitemap can improve the crawling of larger or more complex sites, or more specialized files.

But some time due to some errors your site map does not work and show an error like “This required tag is missing , please add it and resubmit problem fix “ in this post I will tell you how to fix this kind or sitemap error in just 2 minute. Follow the following steps to solve this problem.

1.     1.  Open your blogger site.

.      2. Now go to setting and find robots.txt , If it is enabled then disabled it first as picture shown below

         3. Now click on custom robots txt and clear all the content if having

4.   4. Now open chrome and enter  https://getsetupdate.com/robots.txt you have to enter your site name in the place of getsetupdate.com

5.    5.   Now copy the xml code as given in picture.

6.   6. Now again go to blogger setting ,click on custom robots.txt and paste the code and enable again the robots.txt option .Now open google search console and resubmit your sitemap . You can see your problem has been solved. This is the solution of sitemap error which is. This required tag is missing ,please add it and resubmit

This sitemap error is occur in very rare case . this is occur due to the missing tag in xml file. This can affect your site directly or indirectly in seo ranking
